We begin by learning about the student, reviewing current concerns and available information, and identifying where the learning process may be breaking down. From there, we determine whether Signpost Pathways is an appropriate fit and recommend the next steps.

Collaborative Support

Refer a Student

Consider referring a student when you see:

Persistent difficulty with reading, writing, or math
Significant academic skill gaps
Inconsistent academic performance
Performance that does not reflect demonstrated potential
Executive-function challenges affecting academic success
Avoidance or difficulty sustaining academic tasks
Difficulty maintaining or generalizing progress
Concerns related to homeschool transition or alternative graduation planning
A need for a clearer understanding of what is getting in the way and what to do next

When to Refer

Signpost Pathways provides educational assessment, individualized academic intervention, instructional planning, and progress monitoring to identify learning barriers and guide instruction.

Our work is educational rather than diagnostic. We do not diagnose medical, psychological, speech-language, occupational, or learning disorders. When additional evaluation is appropriate, families are encouraged to consult licensed professionals.

With parent permission, we welcome collaboration with professionals already supporting the student so recommendations can be incorporated into the student's educational plan.

When appropriate, Signpost Pathways can share relevant findings, instructional priorities, measurable progress, and recommendations for continued support.

The goal is to provide a clearer path forward for the student while supporting communication and collaboration among the adults involved in the student's education.

Signpost Pathways collaborates with healthcare providers and educational organizations to support students whose complex needs exceed the scope of traditional tutoring.
